This toothpaste has a miraculous quality: It has a pleasant, clean, even sweet natural orangey flavor, totally eliminating the nasty quality one commonly associates with the experience of tooth-brushing. I found myself brushing my teeth more frequently and more vigorously after I first used this stuff. My mother had gum issues and found that this wonderful paste improved them noticeably, perhaps due to the vitamin C.

I'd strongly recommend NutriSmile for children, people with sore gums or anyone who simply wants to make their tooth-brushing experience more pleasant.

I just couldn't brush my teeth during the first trimester of pregnancy. Then I found this toothpaste. The flavor was delicious! I never had a problem after that, and I've been using this ever since. Now my little girl is using it and has been the only one she's loved since transitioning from the baby toothpastes. She was using Burt's bees orange children's toothpaste which was discontinued. We were so upset about that. I had a hard time trying to find another toothpaste she liked until I finally just started using ours on her (just a tiny dot). She LOVED it!

I've gone through many regular brands of toothpaste trying to get my teeth actually feeling clean for once, since I have teeth that are somewhat brittle and porous, giving them a rough surface that's difficult to clean. This is the first toothpaste where my teeth actually felt shiny and smooth after brushing, just like I'd had a dental cleaning. Plus it seems to have eliminated the painful tingling and inflammation I had after using normal toothpastes, which I can only assume is from some allergy to whatever they put in the average toothpaste (maybe the artificial sweetener). After going through several name brand whitening toothpastes, this is the only one to get the orangey stains from herb tea off my one problem tooth. The orange, cinnamon, and mint flavour is mild and refreshing. Best toothpaste I've used so far.

Colgate Total Anticavity Fluouride And Antigingivitis Toothpaste, Clean Mint Paste, here-in being reviewed, is THE best toothpaste -- that I have found, anyway. It has a nice flavour, (somewhat different from the original flavour when TOTAL toothpaste first came out, Yet, hmmnn,,,, upon using up a tiny bit of the original I still had left from a few years back, I must admit I really do like the new flavour even a bit better!)

A few years ago, I found that this is the ONLY toothpaste I've tried that actually does work for me! Other toothpastes, (such as Crest or AquaFresh), left my mouth feeling as if it had been scrubbed with sandpaper! And any freshening that they had left in my mouth disappeared within a half-hour or so! I guess this might be because I grew up using the original formula of Colgate's toothpaste -- then switched to Total because its ads touted it had a twelve-hour action, due to adding TRICLOSAN, an antibacterial, antigingivitis agent. My dentist said this is the best toothpaste, as well. So, I happily use ONLY Total Clean Mint Paste.

I'm sure the Colgate Total Whitening Toothpastes are good as well -- but I figure that any whitening toothpaste just MAY tempt one to cheat. With a non-whitening toothpaste, such as is being reviewed here, only continual brushing will eventually whiten teeth. A "whitening" toothpaste may whiten teeth with fewer brushings -- leading one to be tempted to skip necessary brushings. Besides, a whitening toothpaste will probably add extra ingredients, and who knows if these extra ingredients are harrmless or harmful in the long run?

Even "natural" toothpastes I have tried do not measure up. I need my triclosan, to stop the gingivitus! And my TEETH need it even more!

It is also a PASTE. Somehow, I feel that gel toothpastes, whatever their virtues, add too much water, so one does not get as much value as in a paste. I might be wrong in this....but that's what my instincts tell me....

I'm a rather particular person -- rarely satisifed with anything. But I sure am satisfied with COLGATE TOTAL ANTICAVITY FLOURIDE AND ANTIGINGIVITUS TOOTHPASTE! Would I ever swith????

Nope! THIS toothpaste, here-in being reviewed, is MY toothpaste -- and I hope I'll be able to use it forever, and that they NEVER stop making it! Perfection is achieved in so few things -- but in my opinion, perfection in toothpaste has been achieved here!

"SAME active ingredient as Sensodyne!" 2009-07-25

This absolutely does work since the active ingredient, potassium nitrate, is exactly what is in Sensodyne, and is the proven effective and well accepted compound to use for the condition of sensitivity due to loss of tooth enamel. Many skeptics of natural products fear they won't be strong enough to be effective, which just isn't true for most things, but this actually has the same effectiveness. Sensodyne, like every other non all-natural toothpaste, is full of harmful synthetic chemicals. All those other inactive ingredients are irrelevant when it comes to sensitivity and are mainly there to make the paste foam, sickeningly sweet, and dyed. The only other paste for sensitivity I know of that uses a different ingredient is a version of Sensodyne available in Canada that has strontium chloride instead (although Canada also has the one with potassium nitrate too). Potassium nitrate works by crystallizing with minerals present in saliva and filling in the pores in the tooth, causing the pain signal to the nerve to be interrupted. Remember though, nothing can replace lost tooth enamel so if one's condition is severe they may not get as much relief. There can also be other factors going on like inflammation of the gums or nerve roots that need to be addressed. Clenching and/or grinding teeth at night, brushing too hard with bristles too coarse, and eating/drinking acidic foods cause this condition and make it much worse if continued. It takes many weeks to feel results as the pores are getting filled. I am thrilled that they make this as I am so adamantly against scrubbing carcinogens into my oral mucosa that I refused to treat my sensitive teeth before I found this so I could continue using natural toothpastes. It tastes great and the wintergreen is refreshing.

After getting painful canker sores (sometimes more than 1 at a time) and trying many home remedies with little success, I finally tried Tom's SLS-free toothpaste 6 months ago. I have not had a canker sore since.

It takes awhile to get used to the fact that the toothpaste doesn't foam much, but the flavors are very nice and the relief from canker sores is WELL worth the lack of bubbles.

I am pleased with this product so far. For natural toothpaste it tastes pretty good. I went to the product's website to find out additional information on the product before I ordered. The only thing I wished would have been added to the information is that it is recommended to use this product for only 4 weeks at a time unless directed by the dentist. I'm not sure why but I intend to find out.

About a year ago my dentist finally convinced me to switch to a toothpaste for sensitive teeth, as i had been getting some very uncomfortable sensations on certain teeth when eating or drinking even mildly warm foods. The dentist recommended sensodyne, but since I didn't know what half of the chemicals were in it, I turned to Toms of Maine. I'd used Toms products before and liked them alot and was glad to find that they made a product for sensitive teeh. I've used it for about a year and have had no issues with my teeth. Recently, I happened to run out, and started using a tube of Tom's regular toothpaste. Wow! Within a week i knew how well the sensitive version had worked, and promptly went out a got a new tube! It really has been saving me from alot of VERy uncomfortable temperature sensitivity!!! Tastes great too - I recommend it!

I am unsure why one reviewer mentions the size as being too small. One tube seems to last for over two months as you only use a pea size amount anyway. In fact, we wanted to try a different flavor/brand but with one child, I still have 4 more tubes to use up.

Highly recommend it if you are looking for a non-fluoride past for your child.

We thought Listerine toothpaste would taste as awfully strong as their regular more popular mouthwash products. Not at all. It taste great with a strong mint flavor.

It borrows some of the ingredients from Listerine mouthwash to fight against plaque and gingivitis. It also has tartar control and anti-cavity formula.

My spouse and I think this is a super product and have used it for years. It is now hard to find, no one is stocking it anymore, even places that used to order it for us are no longer able to. I'm allergic to an ingredient that is found in most toothpastes. If I use such toothpastes I'll get cankers/mouth ulcers. For years, I've only used Listerine toothpaste - it's the only one that I've never reacted to. I was bummed a few years back when the changed the formulation, but I adjusted and still can't use anything else. My whole family is hooked now too.

This is my favorite and only toothpaste. It is impossible to find this tartar control version in ANY of the local stores, so I keep ordering it in 4-packs from Amazon.

This toothpaste does not have a lot of foam like a lot of the big brands and it gets teeth really clean. It seems to reduce the oral bacteria, just like Listerine mouthwash, so I never get scum mouth during the day or when waking up in the morning. I have had GREAT dental checkups the last 3 years since using (the hygienist said I should be an example for other patients) and my gums have never been in better health. For the record, I also use the Listerine Advanced tartar control mouthwash and floss daily.

If you brush your teeth 2 times a day, 7 days a week for 10 years with this toothpaste you'll lose 728 seconds unscrewing the cap and putting it back on...and that's assuming you have practiced over and over doing some "dry runs" first. As for me, I regret buying this and with I had stuck with Crest (with the flip top!). So don't waste your life, unless you are rich in which case you have more money (substitution principle), or you can pay someone to open and close the cap for you. So, while this review may have taken you some 30 seconds to read or so, think how much time I just saved you...please mail me $1.20 (substitution principle).

This toothpaste will help gums heal from gum disease, and makes your mouth feel fresher than any typical commercial paste, without all the sweeteners and chemicals. Whitens too. As much trouble as I had with my gums after meds for inflammation resulted in actual abscesses, Neem saved what teeth it was possible to save. I only wish I discovered it sooner!

I must preface this review by mentioning that some people have minor allergies to certain kinds of toothpaste, which can cause the types of discomfort I'm about to describe.

I have been an Arm & Hammer user for years. Many dentists claim that the baking soda doesn't actually clean your teeth any better than other toothpaste, but that it just makes your teeth *feel* cleaner. That may be true, but it's good enough for me.

However, I ran out and wouldn't you know it but the store was out too so I wound up buying a tube of this Colgate paste/gel. Within two days my entire mouth was sore and my gums bled. Mind you, I had no issues with my gums prior to using this toothpaste.

Scared out of my wits that I had contracted some awful disease of the mouth I jumped online and quickly learned that it's not uncommon to have this kind of reaction and as soon as I returned to my good ol' Arm & Hammer, my mouth went right back to normal.

So I suppose the point of this review is to tell any would-be buyers out there to try a single tube before jumping into a six pack! In hindsight, I suppose that would be common sense, but if one person out there reads this and saves themselves some gum pain, I've done my job ;)

Hey, I can't literally promise you that you won't get any cavities or extra tartar if you use Colgate Tartar Control Plus Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste in the cool mint gel form--but I will say that it's an important part of the total plan for keeping your teeth clean and healthy. Colgate toothpaste will freshen your breath; and Colgate also does a good job of warding off cavities and tartar. Colgate also has the overall effect of adding some whiteness to your teeth. Colgate can also be used by children over age 2 if you supervise them as they brush their teeth.

The toothpaste comes out easily after you simply unscrew the top cap and gently squeeze the tube. The gel sticks well to the toothbrush so it doesn't slip off before you can get it in your mouth! It contains sodium fluoride; this fights cavities and tartar if you brush your teeth two or three times a day. In addition, Colgate is indeed sugar free. Colgate sweetens the minty flavored toothpaste with sugar substitutes. Colgate, of course, is NOT a substitute for regular and routine dental checkups; and the toothpaste manufacturer cannot literally guarantee that if you use Colgate you will have cavity-free, pearly white teeth without any tartar. Instead, Colgate reduces the chances of your getting cavities as it reduces the amount of visible tartar and darkening stains on your teeth.

If you have any questions about Colgate or if you need to know more specific information, contact Colgate. They have a website and there is also a toll free number on the box containing the tube of toothpaste.

Overall, Colgate gives us one of the better toothpastes around and it is an important part of the total plan to take good care of your teeth. This toothpaste came with the set of white strips that I bought. I've had this stain on my front teeth that I wanted to get rid of b/c it would not come off with floss. I thought I would try the toothpaste first until I find the right time to use the strips. After the 3rd time brushing my teeth, the stain was gone. I am not sure if I am going to use this product all the time, but it sure helped with that stain. And my teeth feel like I just came from the dentist :)

Crest Vivid White does begin to show a noticeable change after a few uses on natural teeth primarily because it swiftly tackles surface stains, so it certainly lives up to the rave, but I am curious to it's abrasiveness on tooth enamel. Whitening toothpastes generally exfoliate enamel to allow the chemicals to reach deeper into your teeth, thus showing surprisingly effective results. However Crest corporation does note "minimally abrasive" in their marketing. Then again, remember that they're selling a product, so this could be sugarcoated.

Traditionally, the ADA rarely embraces whitening toothpaste as they tend to be harmful in longterm use and I doubt this will be different, but it does contain fluoride (something rather important), so it's not all bad.

I question that Crest has created a miracle whitener, else I presume more dentists would be raving about it. The only one I've heard consistently about is Colgate Total, and I come from a dental family. So listening to speculations of professionals around me, it isn't terrible, nor is it fantastic, so my rating reflects that. Use at your discretion.

I have pretty nice teeth to begin with but when my 5 year old niece is asking me why my teeth are yellow I knew I needed to whiten them. I saw this in the store and decided to give it a try. The toothpaste isn't overpowering and it doesn't make my mouth burn as some toothpastes do. The toothpaste actually kind of starts to foam when you brush. The toothpaste doesn't make your teeth sensitive at all like the strips do. At least not in my case. You see results almost immediately and it's cheaper than the strips. Using this toothpaste doesn't require you to buy 50 million different oral hygiene products because you have it all in one or two tubes depending if you use both the day and night pastes. I have both but I really only use the daytime one. It has also made my breath a lot fresher.This toothpaste in my opinion beats any whitening strips out there. I have used the strips twice before. 1st time I used Cest Strips I used the first ones they had out. It worked but only where the stips actually had contact with the teeth. The second time I used them I used the stronger strips because they would work in shorter peiod of time. I was able to only use the strips one time because 5 minutes in I felt a zing in my teeth the kind if someone hit a nerve. Both kinds of strips made my teeth very sensitive. Another problem with the strips is possible staining if you eat something dark. I ate dark cherries the first time I was whitening my teeth and I had red stains on my teeth because the strips make your teeth more pourous. The toothpaste can get to all of your teeth not just the front ones. I have had so many people asking me if I whiten my teeth. When I tell them it's my new toothpaste they are taking notes so they can buy it on their next trip to the store.

I absolutely detest the taste and scent of mint and cinnamon. Wouldn't you know that's what most toothpaste is made of. Well, Tom's of Maine is one company that finally gets it and understands that not all adults like mint and cinnamon. I purchased this toothpaste strictly based on the Amazon reviews and am so happy that each of the reviewers took time to give their feedback. It was only fitting that I added my review in hopes of helping someone else make a good decision. This toothpaste is heaven sent! I love, did I say LOVE the flavor. I have to admit initially I thought it was a bit costly, but to me it's well worth the price not to feel nauseous when brushing my teeth.

Purchase this toothpaste and I promise you will not be disappointed. I am pretty frugal and I'm always looking for ways to save money. I splurged and paid for 2 day shipping because I was so anxious to put myself out of misery with the current toothpaste I was using. I'm a Tom's customer forever as long as they keep making this product.

The flavor of this toothpaste is a nice change from the minty norm and doesn't have that nasty interaction that you can get when eating or drinking certain things after brushing. My teeth feel clean after brushing -- clearly a plus! -- but the major drawback to this is that my mouth feels and tastes very chalky afterwards. The chalkiness is so much that it counteracts any of the positives of this toothpaste for me, so that I most likely wouldn't purchase it again. But, for someone looking for a natural toothpaste with a non-minty flavor this would be a good choice.

I have been using the Tom's line of toothpaste for awhile now in an effort to try a more "natural" form of toothpaste. At first I could only get the mint flavor, which is o.k., but one time I found the orange mango on the shelf and now that is my favorite! I find it a nice change of pace, I don't think it leaves an aftertaste at all. I have noticed too that this flavor is getting harder to find, I hope they will continue to make it for those of us who are tired of the mint kind.

Great flavor, even we adults like it as a change from the overly strong mint tastes. Love that it is all natural as we were shocked to discover that other children's toothpastes on the market contain all kinds of unhealthy ingredients. The only negative with this toothpaste is that the tube material is not as flexible as a typical plastic tube, so it is harder to get the last few squeezes out without making a mess.

I was diagnosed with perioral dermatitis a few about 6 months ago. For those who do not know about PD, it is an awfully embarassing affliction that appears as an acne-like rash around the nasal and oral areas. My dermatologist prescribed me systemic and topical antibiotics. They did help a bit, but not completely. He didn't offer any tips as to how I got this or products I can change or use. I searched online and found out that Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) is known to be the catalyst. And SLS is in about everything! Including toothpaste. But I found Squigle and since I have been using it (and not using anything else with SLS) my PD is completely gone! Yay!

For years I had suffered from canker sores ever since having braces. I had tried everything doctor visits, over the counter stuff, and nothing completely erased it like regular use with Squigle. The taste takes some adjusting to but to be pain free to talk, chew, and shallow, you can't put a price tag on that. I have been buying these types of toothpastes for a long time now because I don't like the mess of the flip top or the hassle of the screw top; yes I am that lazy!

The Crest Whitening Expressions Line are great in the flavor department and getting that fresh, cold mouth feeling every morning and night. As far as the whitening, I would have to disagree because I do not see any difference. My teeth are clean and have been cavity free to this point. There is no plaque build up or discoloration. This isn't a replacement for your recall exams with your favorite dentist in no way, but rather up-keep until your next check up.

As for the Herbal mint... it is just that. We love minty strong toothpastes in our home. We were very surprised when we first tried the "Herbal Mint" and it wasn't as minty strong but more tea like, hence the herbal part LOL. I wasn't going to purchase again, but found us drawn back to where we don't recognize the difference anymore. If it sounds like your cup of tea then you will enjoy this change of pace.

We recommend keeping the bottle upside down so that it will flow easily onto the toothbrush. Another keeper is the little "running low" sticker on the side that reminds you that it is time to get another bottle soon. A bottle lasts about a month in a half in our household; maybe a bit longer.

I'm past the age for getting cavities, but I buy Crest regular because it does the job. It gets good reviews. I also floss and whiten my teeth periodically by scrubbing with baking soda. I don't believe tooth paste itself whitens your teeeth. Don't miss meals or your breath gets sour. The best thing about any toothpaste is, it freshens your breath.

A few months ago, I awoke one morning with a very sensitive upper front tooth. Each time a cold substance (even a rush of air) passed over that tooth, it would send a jolt of pain through my mouth.

I was puzzled by this, as I had never had trouble with teeth sensitivity before, but on the advice of my Dad (a dentist) I purchased this product.

After just a few days of rubbing this paste on the sensitive tooth, my problem completely disappeared and I have not had any problems since! I now alternate brushing with this product and a better-tasting paste (the chalky taste is the one downside of Sensodyne) and that system seems to prevent any sensitivity from developing.

Make sure however, that whatever sensitivity-relieving product you purchase (whether Sensodyne or others) contains the active ingredient Potassium Nitrate (5%), which will fill in the areas in the tooth that are exposed to the cold elements.

Having sensitive teeth from being a huge soda drinker as a kid, I cringed at even the sight of chocolate cake and was beginning to experience pain and agony at sugars, colds, hots, basically anything extreme was making me jump out of my shoes, looking for any reprieve that I could find. I tried fluoride gels, Act, brushing and flossing more often, and while all this helped, the thing that really made my life more bearable was Sensodyne toothpaste. Much improved from the formulas that were out 20 years ago, the new flavors are very good and there are many flavors to choose from (back in the day there was only 1). My personal favorite is Cool Gel, but if you suffer from sensitive teeth, any flavor will be perfectly acceptable if it helps your teeth feel better. I certainly cannot claim to have tried every toothpaste out there, but I've tried quite a few! I've tried gel, paste, and powder.

This toothpaste outperforms any other I've tried, even the comparable one made by Tom's of Maine.

When I brush with this, my teeth feel as clean as if I just left the dentist. It "foams" very nicely.

Warning, though. If you don't care for anise (the taste of black licorice), don't bother trying this toothpaste. I find the flavor very pleasant, so it is no deterrent to me. I've tried their other flavors of toothpaste, and this particular flavor works the best that I've tried. I can't explain that - it's simply the truth:-)

I am concerned that the toothpaste containers do not have the ADA logo on them that the majority of toothpastes' do. Also, there is no indiction of what country manufactured this toothpaste, only that it was "distributed". I do not appreciate putting anything into my mouth or body unless I know where is was made.

I normally use another type of Crest, but Crest Pro-Health was on sale and I wanted to try it. It is horrible! The month slime everyone talks about is gross yet so true. The toothpaste is too strong. This slime is actually a collection of cells the toothpaste has stripped from your mouth. This may sound cleaning, but it strips way too much and leave your mouth almost raw in spots. I didn't realize this toothpaste was causing all this until I went online to read reviews. Rinsing doesn't help. After you stop using it for a week, your mouth should return to normal. Also, I normally do not have bad breath, but I seemed to develop horrible breath after using this. It doesn't whiten well at all.

I really can't say enough horrible things about it. I would never recommend this to anyone.

This is a product that you buy because it gets results, not for the taste. Personally, I like something like Armand-Hammer, which is more or less just baking soda. This is a little more gritty/industrial. Not as good as a whitening treatment, but will certainly help that.

Some people have talked about being de-sensitized to taste, perhaps because of the zinc. This has not happened to me.

"Not Very Good at All" 2009-10-19

I used at least a full large tube of both the clean mint and the cinnamon versions of this. As with other toothpastes I've used over the last 10 years or more, I always brush my teeth with a Braun/Oral B electric toothbrush.

The only good effect of this product is that it does seem to whiten my teeth a bit compared to toothpastes without whitening agents.

In the neutral category I'd put taste and the feeling of a clean mouth immediately afterward. This is no better or worse than others in this respect. Sensitivity protection is also adequate as such products go, but not as good as Crest's specific Sensitivity toothpastes which, for my sensitive teeth, work better than any others I've tried.

In the definitely negative category I'd put:

1. Mouth slime. Others have mentioned this, and it is real. I'm not sure what the semi-opaque thick whitish mucus consistency stuff is, but there is more production of it with this paste than with any other I've ever used. It is a constant problem when using this product routinely. It does not just form after brushing and then you get rid of it and it's gone. It keeps forming.

2. Dry mouth. The longer I used it, the worse this condition got. Toward the end of my usage, the sensation was so strong that my mouth felt dry even when I was swishing water around in my mouth. Ugh!

3. Sense of taste impairment. With the dry mouth came decreased sense of taste which made all food less palatable. Again, not only is taste impaired, but my mouth felt dry even when chewing on moist food.

4. Bad taste in mouth. While I never got complaints from my wife about bad breath while using this stuff, within a couple of hours of use I'd get a bad taste in my mouth which eating or drinking would lessen, but not eliminate.

5. Drippy. It was difficult to use this without it dripping out of my mouth while brushing. The cinnamon is more paste-like and softer and is even more of a problem this way than the cool mint which has a more gel-like consistency. Both dripped on my shirt more than any other toothpaste I've ever used.

I am not a Crest hater. My favorite toothpaste long term is Crest's Sensitivity with Scope and Whitening. It has sensitivity protection second only to Crest's Sensitivity Original Formula, adequate whitening, no mouth irritation, minimal mouth slime, very fresh feeling and fresh breath, no bad taste in my mouth hours afterward, no dry mouth or taste impairment, and no drippiness. The only negative is price per ounce. I wish they still made it in a large tube like the 8.2 oz Pro.Health, rather than those ridiculous 4.2 oz tubes which they replaced the larger tubes with and raised the price at the same time . . . . Still, it's worth every penny.

I started using this toothpaste recently. A few days later I began to experience a rather sudden and extreme desensitization of my sense of taste. This really freaked me out because I heard that a sudden loss of taste sensation like that could be the sign of a serious health issue. But, before consulting a medical professional, I began to think about what had changed recently in my daily diet or supplementation regimen. The only thing I could think of as different was that I had recently just started using Crest Pro-Health. So, I looked at the label of the product, and in the inactive ingredient list, I saw ZINC. It totally made sense as I thought back to the recent FDA action on Zicam (which is a zinc based product) which was damaging people's sense of smell (in some cases permanently). I remembered from my biology classes that sense of taste and sense of smell are two closely related senses.

So, putting 2 and 2 together I immediately ceased using Crest Pro-Health and used another product not containing zinc (I made sure to check the label). Within 24 hours, my sense of taste began to slowly return to normal and as I type this it is almost completely back. I shudder to think that I might have done permanent damage to my sense of taste if I hadn't figured this out in time.

On top of all that, it tastes horrible, IMO.

Maybe I'm just sensitive to zinc or something, but, as it's not worth the risk I will never use this product again.

However, I'm seeing by other reviews that other users seem to be getting really good results with no side-effects. Therefore, I'll just end this product review with 'Buyer beware. Mileage may vary.'

Oral B Toddler Toothpaste is the only toothpaste I use on my kids until they are about six years old. My daughter is 5 and still uses it. She loves all the flavors and it's great, because it's fluoride-free and it is safe to swallow.

I remember when I was a kid, I used to try to spit, but wasn't very good at it. I would swallow small amounts and ended up with fluorosis (stained teeth) when my permanent teeth came in. None of the kids around me got fluorosis, so I figured it couldn't be the water. Maybe I was swallowing too much toothpaste.

At any rate, the toothpaste tastes good. The children like it. It doesn't suds up like regular toothpaste, but it keeps their teeth pretty clean, as long as they brush properly. My daughter uses an electric toothbrush. She goes to the dentist regularly and they tell me she doesn't have plaque, which is pretty amazing for a 5 year old who brushes her teeth all by herself. She hasn't had any cavities, either.

I have a ton of problems with my gums and teeth and being diabetic on top of it does not help. I have tried almost everything to help with my whole mouth feeling sore and unclean all the time and this toothpaste, hands down, is the BEST! My gums and teeth are doing the best I have ever seen. Also it is the best tasting toothpaste out there!

I have white teeth, so it was hard to tell if Jason's was really great or not. My husband's teeth were getting more yellow as he got older. One day I noticed how white his teeth had gotten. I could actually see the stains coming off his teeth! I asked him which of the many toothpastes I had put in the bathroom he used...He said Jasons! That was good enough for me...Now we keep Jason's around and his teeth are nice and white. Sounds like a commercial, eh?

I love this toothpaste. It's easy on the mouth unlike many brands I have used. I like that it has teatree oil. Makes my teeth feel very clean. It has a bit of an aftertaste which I don't find unpleasant and a splash of mouthwash takes care of it. Over all a great product, highly recommended.

I have used this toothpast for 14 days +. It says it will whiten your teeth, and it will, but not by much. I use it in tangent with vivid white. It tastes great and my teeth look and feel healthy. No sensitivity, despite the abrasiveness, and I would recommend it, but not for heavy duty whitening.

I mean it's an okay toothpaste and everything. But my teeth hasn't gotten any whiter since I started using this half a year ago comparing to Colgate Total when I used that before hand. And the biggest problem I have with this product is that most days you wake up with a bad(dirty) feel in your mouth and/or your teeth hurting, and with my teeth not significantly whiter(not any IMO). I just don't see the point of paying more and then feeling worse in the morning.

What they don't tell you about Vivid White Night is that you must use it in tandem with Crest Vivid White. You're supposed to use one in the morning and one in the evening. When used in tandem, they produce some pretty great whitening results. They are especially good when used to maintain your whiteness after using whitening strips.

I'm not sure why these two products never come in a combo pack...I bought the "lightning deal" 4-pack of Vivid White night as well as a 4-pack of the morning formula....altogether about $30 for a massive amount of toothpaste.

Still, it's a 4-pack, so be sure you like mint!

After using 4 tubes (lasted about 7 weeks) of this Crest "Vivid White" toothpaste, my teeth did not get any whiter. For your information, I brush twice a day, 5 minutes each, and I don't smoke or drink coffee or wine.

Save your money and buy regular toothpaste.

I got really lazy with brushing my teeth. It just didn't appeal to me as much as say Guitar Hero, America's Army, YouTube. But after buying this Toothpaste (tastes awesome!!!) and the Oral B Vitality Toothbrush (which by the way basically tells you when you have brushed for 2 minutes) I started brushing again. You can't really stop earily or else you don't get the cool change in buzzing when you reach 2 minutes. This is the best toothpaste I have ever tasted or used, it works unbelievably fast, and I know because we used to use generic crap, till I bought a 4 pack of this, now, nothing else till the end of time. Or till Crest tops it again.

I have used this toothpaste for several years and it's the only one that I will buy. My teeth feel really clean after I use it and it has whitened my teeth substantially. I have sensitive gums and some toothpastes, especially gels, cause painful irritation. This toothpaste has never done that. It's pretty basic and doesn't have a lot of the extra chemicals that other toothpastes tend to have.

I'm happy to see that Amazon now carries it so I can stock up and take advantage of the lower cost. This product costs $3.99 a tube at my grocery store, and half the time they're out of stock.

Give this toothpaste a try. You won't be disappointed!

I bought this item without being able to see a complete ingredients list, because Amazon doesn't show one. I made a reasonable assumption that it was a healthy product, but it is not. The ingredients list on the box clearly shows that it contains sodium benzoate, which when ingested is converted by the body into benzene -- a known carcinogen and a component of coal tar. Use of sodium benzoate is legal in the USA, but then lots of really unhealthy things are still legal in the USA because of lobbyists. Because this product contains a benzene precursor, it is not in my opinion fit for humans... unless you think cancer of the mouth would be great fun.

My dentist told me to start using this product because it helps prevent cavities and sinus infections. Apparently, the xylitol in Spry toothpaste kills the bacteria that causes these problems. Since I began using this product, I haven't had one sinus infection and I would normally have had at least one or two by now. It's a great product and I highly recommend it.
