For years I have have used a sensitive toothpaste. When I found one I really liked, it became increasingly difficult to locate a retail source. I have used this product for years and have tried others, I just can't get used to the other toothpaste taste. Buying online is like buying in bulk at Sams or Costco. Only thing is they don't sell this brand bulk. Never thought I would buy toothpaste online but with the free shipping, it was very cost beneficial.

I've used many toothpastes designed to eliminate tooth sensitivity and none of them have ever tasted as salty as this one. My dentist said it's because of the high sodium fluoride content (0.24%) and the sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) in this product. This alone gives it a 3-star rating for me because I hate the taste so much I find it tough to want to use it to brush!
The pro's for this product:
+It does whiten your teeth without hydrogen peroxide which sometimes causes oral thrush (at least for me).
+Low abrasion formula is gentler on your teeth's enamel.
+High fluoride content makes your teeth stronger and fights cavities.
+Desensitizes gums and teeth as promised.
The con's...and they are big ones for me:
-WAY too salty tasting to be good even with the 'mint' flavor.
-Poor tasting makes it tough to want to use the product. After this tube I'm back to using another brand.
Conclusion: Product does what it promises, but fails the taste test!

While using this product for 4-5 years and my teeth felt great. I haven't been able to find it for a couple of months so I bought Colgate's sensitive toothpaste. Colgate's doesn't work nearly as well: 1) my teeth don't feel nearly as clean, 2) my teeth are much more sensitive - actually hurt - since I stopped using the Arm & Hammer, and 3) my teeth aren't nearly as white!
If you have sensitive teeth, try this one - it really works!
